Six No. 1-ranked teams will be in action across the state today, trying to punch their way to the state finals in Birmingham.

On the girls side, top-ranked Jasper (5A), Good Hope (4A) and Lauderdale County (3A) all hit the floor in regional finals. For the boys, No. 1s Fairfield (5A), Jackson (4A) and Sumter Central (3A) are all in action on the second to last day of regional play. One win gets you into the state semifinals.
